A Day To Remember: MAAC CRU Creative Carnival 2026

In keeping with our tradition of excellence, MAAC CRU proudly hosted the grand “MAAC CRU Creative Carnival 2026” at Academy Of Fine Arts, Kolkata on 18th July 2026. This full-day event was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.

The event began with a formal lamp-lighting ceremony by Mr Naveen Choudhary and Mrs Naina Choudhary , Directors of MAAC CRU (CHOWRINGHEE RASHBEHARI ULTADANGA) and LAKME ACADEMY NAGERBAZAR RASHBEHARI, along with Mr Sanjeev Das, CG Supervisor ILM  & Mr Mayur Puri, Film Writer, Lyricist & Screenwriter and Mr Pradeep Sawant – National Academic Head – MAAC – Aptech Ltd , Ms Mala Halder – National Industry Connect – Aptech Limited, along with Mr Somnath Bhattacharya, Mr Shaubhik Sen , Ms Puja Howladar from APTECH Ltd and Mr Subashish.

Following the inauguration, our esteemed Director, Mr. Naveen Choudhary, shared a few inspiring and motivational words with the audience. He encouraged students to believe in their creativity, embrace continuous learning, and work with passion and perseverance to build successful careers in the creative industry.

One of the highlights of the event was the industry seminar—“Dronacharya Speaks”—featuring talks by top stalwarts of the creative world:

  • Sanjeev Das – CG Supervisor, ILM, A globally experienced VFX expert behind world-class visual storytelling.

  • Mayur Puri – Film Writer, Lyricist & Screenwriter, The creative force behind some of Bollywood’s most iconic stories and songs.

The inspiring sessions by Sanjeev Das and Mayur Puri gave students a unique opportunity to learn directly from industry veterans. From world-class VFX production and visual storytelling to screenwriting and creative excellence, they shared valuable experiences, practical insights, and career guidance, inspiring aspiring artists to build successful careers in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Filmmaking, and Design.

Content creators Jhilam Gupta and Poulami Guha were also felicitated for their remarkable contributions to the digital content industry, adding another inspiring highlight to the celebration.
