After months of intense classes, creative projects, and constant hustle, it was time to pause and celebrate — and the MAAC & Lakmé Academy Annual Picnic 2026 turned out to be the perfect getaway. Packed with laughter, bonding, and unforgettable memories, the day brought students, mentors, and team members together beyond the usual classrooms and studios, strengthening connections and celebrating the spirit of togetherness.

The much-awaited picnic of MAAC CRU (Chowringhee, Rashbehari, Ultadanga) along with Lakmé Academy Kolkata (Rashbehari and Nagerbazar) was held on 14th February 2026 at Shiv Shakti Garden, Kolkata. Pleasant weather and refreshing surroundings made the day even more special.

A Bright Start to a Joyful Day as Our Annual Picnic Begins

The day began early with excitement and cheerful chaos as students gathered for transportation—bringing back memories of school picnic days. With comfortable buses arranged for all centers, everyone reached the venue by late morning. A tasty breakfast with beverages welcomed the group and set the mood for a fun-filled day.

A Day of Games, Food, and Team Spirit

The annual picnic was filled with excitement and high energy, featuring a variety of sports and activities including spoon-and-marble races, three-legged races, sprints, badminton, fun games, and the most-awaited football and cricket matches between MAAC Chowringhee, Rashbehari, and Ultadanga. Students from Lakmé Academy Rashbehari and Nagerbazar participated enthusiastically, especially in the girls’ cricket match, while mentors and staff joined in, highlighting the spirit of unity beyond roles and titles.

The presence of our Chairperson, Mr. Naveen Choudhary, added encouragement and motivation to the day. After hours of activity, everyone enjoyed a wholesome lunch with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, followed by desserts and ice cream. As the day came to a close, winners from various games were announced and awarded trophies and prizes by Mr. Naveen Choudhary, celebrating teamwork and participation, with teams from MAAC Chowringhee shining in football and cricket.


This year, MAAC Chowringhee continued its winning streak in cricket for the third consecutive year, earning the rotating trophy permanently as a proud symbol of their consistent team spirit and excellence.
